Memorial Day weekend has a different meaning for many people.  Some folks go on vacation.  Others hit the beach.  For me, it's a time to catch up on my movies!  And, there are three new ones out this weekend, all starring Jewish actors.

First, there's "Sex And The City 2", starring Sarah Jessica Parker.  The Fab Four leave New York for a glamorous trip, to the Middle East.  It's an escape that comes exactly at the right moment for the lovely ladies, who are finding themselves in, and fighting against, the traditional roles of marriage, and motherhood.

If an action flick is more up your alley, look out for Jake Gyllenhaal in "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time".  He plays a prince, who teams up with a rival princess, to stop an angry ruler from unleashing a sandstorm, that could destroy the world.

And, in limited release, there's the historical drama, "Agora", set in the 4th century, in Alexandria, Egypt.  Rachel Weisz stars as a famous atheist philosopher during the rise of Christianity, and the fall of the Roman Empire.
